The Director General of Dr. Sumait Hospital, Mr. Ali Farah, warmly welcomed a high-level delegation from Deniz Feneri, one of Turkey’s prominent humanitarian organizations, during an official visit aimed at exploring opportunities for cooperation and strengthening healthcare services in Somalia.
The delegation was led by Mr. Ahmet Sarıkurt, Head of the International Relations Office at Deniz Feneri, and included Mr. Muhammed Bilal Saltan, International Relations Specialist at Deniz Feneri, and Mr. Osman Mahmut, Deniz Feneri Somalia Country Director.
The visit provided an opportunity for the delegation to learn more about the operations, healthcare services, and development initiatives of Dr. Sumait Hospital. During their visit, the delegation was taken on an extensive tour of the hospital’s various departments and facilities, where they observed the range of medical services provided to patients and gained insight into the hospital’s commitment to delivering safe, affordable, and high-quality healthcare.
The delegation visited key departments and reviewed the hospital’s healthcare infrastructure, medical facilities, and service delivery systems. They were briefed on the hospital’s ongoing healthcare programs, specialized medical services, and efforts to expand access to quality treatment for communities across Somalia.
