Dr. Ismail Ahmed Ali MBChB,Ms surg Dr. Ismail Ahmed Ali is a highly experienced and skilled surgeon and oversees a team of junior doctors, nurses and other professionals to ensure that every patient receives the best possible care. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in Medicine from Baghdad University in Iraq and Master’s Degree in General Surgery from the International Islamic University Malaysia. In the last 2 decades he has worked in Egypt, Malaysia, India and several hospitals in Somalia including 5 years in the Somali-Turkey Training and Research Hospital (ex-Digfer). In recent years, he completed a clinical fellowship in Gastrointestinal and hepatopancreaticobiliary (GI-HPB) oncology surgery at the Tata Medical Centre in India as well as a fellowship in upper gastrointestinal (UGI), Obesity and Metabolic surgery in UKM, the teaching hospital of the National University of Malaysia. He is also skilled in performing Upper GI Endoscopy and Colonoscopy. Dr Ismail maintains and advances his skills by consistently participating in surgical conferences and relevant training courses. Dr. Ismail is committed to a multidisciplinary and holistic approach in treating diseases. He believes in minimizing surgical invasiveness while maximizing patient safety and recovery speed. His treatment philosophy is based on precision, innovation, and compassionate care. His contributions to the field of surgery go beyond his clinical practice. He mentors and trains future health professionals and is a lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Science at SIMAD University. He engages in research and contributes to knowledge creation.
