Dr. Sumait Hospital was proudly represented by its General Director, Mr. Ali Farah, at the official launch and related leadership meetings for SIMAD University’s 2026–2030 Strategic Plan, held in Nyeri, Kenya.
This important gathering marked a major milestone in SIMAD University’s journey as it prepares to implement its new five-year strategic direction. The event brought together members of the University’s senior leadership for a high-level strategic retreat focused on shaping the future of the institution and strengthening its long-term vision.
During the sessions, participants engaged in advanced leadership training designed to enhance modern leadership capacity and equip decision-makers with the insight and skills needed to respond to rapid change and emerging challenges in higher education and society. The discussions highlighted SIMAD University’s strong commitment to building dynamic, adaptive, and forward-looking leadership.
A key feature of the event was the presentation of SIMAD Vision 2030 by the Chairman of the University, Dr. Abdikarim Mohaidin Ahmed, who shared a comprehensive overview of the University’s future direction, aspirations, and institutional goals. This vision reflects SIMAD University’s ambition to improve its services, align with international standards, and introduce transformative changes that will strengthen its structure and contribution to national and global development.
The meetings also emphasized a shared understanding of how the 2026–2030 Strategic Plan will be implemented across the University system, with a strong focus on collaboration, institutional unity, transparency, and accountability. In addition, the University’s senior leadership approved a new digital monitoring system developed by the university’s technology development department to track progress on the strategic plan and improve implementation across all departments.
As part of this milestone, all members of the senior leadership, led by the Chairman, collectively signed their commitment to support, implement, and operationalize the 2026–2030 Strategic Plan.
