Dr. Sumait Hospital, SIMAD University, is pleased to announce a vacancy for the position of Internal Medicine – Evening Doctor. We are seeking a qualified and experienced physician to support our evening clinical operations and contribute to our commitment to high-quality patient care in Mogadishu.

Internal Medicine – Evening Doctor

Working Hours:
Evening Shift (5:00 PM – 11:00 PM), 6 days/week

Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic internal medicine cases during evening hours.
- Provide both inpatient and outpatient medical care.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure coordinated and effective treatment plans.
- Supervise junior doctors and provide clinical support to interns and nursing staff.
- Participate in patient handover meetings and maintain proper clinical documentation.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Medical Doctor (MD) with specialization in Internal Medicine.
- Minimum of 2 years of post-specialization clinical experience.
- Valid medical license or eligibility to practice in Somalia.
- Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently during evening shifts.
- Good communication and teamwork capabilities.
- Teaching experience or interest in clinical training is an added advantage.
