Dr. Sumait Hospital, part of SIMAD University, is excited to announce a vacancy for the position of ENT Specialist. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join our dynamic and multidisciplinary medical team in Mogadishu.
This opportunity combines clinical practice at a leading teaching hospital with access to academic and research initiatives through SIMAD University.
Position Title: ENT Specialist
Location: Dr. Sumait Hospital, Mogadishu, Somalia
Affiliation: SIMAD University – Faculty of Medicine & Health Sciences

Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and manage disorders of the ear, nose, throat, head, and neck.
- Provide comprehensive outpatient and inpatient care, including surgical interventions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated patient management.
- Supervise and mentor junior doctors, residents, and medical interns.
- Contribute to hospital quality improvement and clinical development programs.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Medical Doctor (MD) with a recognized specialization in Otorhinolaryngology (ENT).
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience post-specialization.
- Valid medical license or eligibility to practice in Somalia.
- Proficiency in both medical and surgical ENT procedures.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- A Master’s or PhD in a related medical field is an added advantage.
