Dr. Sumait Hospitals and SIMAD University are proud to support Dr. Ibrahim Abdullahi Mohamed, a member of our staff who is currently pursuing postgraduate training in Anesthesia and Critical Care at the University of Rwanda.
As part of his academic and professional journey in Rwanda, Dr. Ibrahim also serves as an Institutional Ambassador and Liaison for Dr. Sumait Hospitals and SIMAD University. In this role, he contributes to strengthening connections between the institutions and hospitals, universities, research institutions, professional networks, and scientific communities in Rwanda and beyond.
Through these engagements, Dr. Ibrahim helps explore opportunities for clinical collaboration, research, specialist training, patient referrals, knowledge exchange, and sustainable institutional partnerships. These connections can create valuable opportunities for healthcare professionals to share expertise, access specialized training, and develop collaborative initiatives that support the advancement of healthcare services in Somalia.
His journey reflects the importance of investing in healthcare professionals and creating opportunities for them to gain advanced knowledge, specialized skills, and international experience. The knowledge and professional networks developed through this experience can contribute to strengthening institutional capacity and supporting the continued development of Somalia’s healthcare sector.
