Mogadishu, Somalia – July 28, 2026 – In commemoration of World Hepatitis Day, Dr. Sumait Hospital successfully organized a community health campaign aimed at raising awareness about viral hepatitis while promoting prevention through early detection and vaccination. As part of the initiative, the hospital provided free Hepatitis screening services and administered the first dose of the Hepatitis B vaccine (Dose 1) to members of the public, benefiting more than 400 people.
